Excellent quality food. We took the degustazione menu and everything was plated beautifully and was very tasty. Great bang for the buck for the quality and number of dishes

Overall a pretty nice experience but there were a few shortcomings! The tuna rolls were the highlight of the dinner for me! It needed a bit of salt however. The welcome snack was great as well. Tuna gyoza was good, the beetroot dish was also good and then came the squid ink dish. I felt that seriously lacked acidity, even though it had some kind of concentrated lemon it still needed more. The pasta was good and the desert was pretty basic. It was a wonderful experience but I wouldn’t give it a 5 out of 5

I was kinda meat-out and carbo-out from all the delicious hearty italian food and was looking for something fresh yet delicate and what was recommended to me by the server hits all the points. I had the raw fish platter, cod fish antipasti and passionfruit white choc dessert. Everything was fabulous starting from the amuse bouche which burst in delicate texture & flavour. The raw fish platter is the as fresh as it can be. My least fav is the tuna in the raw fish platter and fav is the red shrimp. The head of the red shrimp head is full of flavours much like carabineros. They only open for dinner. Hoping to find time to go back again tmrw.

We had an absolutely gorgeous meal here, and even better service! We actually found out about it from our cooking class instructor, who is one of the owners of the restaurant. He was kind enough to get us reservations for the following night, and we were very glad he did. One of the chefs came out to talk to us about our selections, and they were spot on! Best squid I've ever had, easily. Absolutely worth the 15 minute walk from the tourist area, you won't be disappointed.

If I could give more stars, I would! The meal here was probably the best meal my husband and I have ever had. Right away the ambiance was perfect and our wonderful server, Francisco, was so helpful and attentive. He recommended the Marmer Oysters which were out of this world, and so fresh! We also were served a fried mackerel dish as a welcome appetizer. Then we moved on to the tagliolini pasta with truffle, razer clams, grouper fish and salicornia. And then had the octopus with potato and truffle. This octopus was perfect! And the mashed potatoes and truffles were so rich and creamy. Then for dessert we had bread, chocolate and fermented milk as this was a new item for us and again, it did not disappoint. Overall an outstanding experience.

We have been doing multiple Michelin star restaurants during our trip to Italy and we were blown away by Diverso after we stumbled upon it after reading some other reviews. The quality of food, the attention to detail with each dish, and the value of what you are paying for truly is phenomenal. The prices are very reasonable for food and wine. Cocktails are on point and just as good as the ones we had at the coveted “Locale” in town. We ended up ordering a lot of food to share. Our favorite item on the menu was a tie: lobster pasta along with the pasta and anchovies with shaved tuna. The homemade pasta was perfectly cooked and full of bold flavors. The ambiance was lovely with a modern twist in decor. This was 5 star experience and we would recommend anyone visiting Florence to give Diverso a try for some delightful eats.

I was visiting Florence and came across this restaurant and it's excellent reviews and we had to go and try it. A couple of bits of helpful information that wasn't included in reviews that I read. It is not cash only, they do take card so I don't know why google lists it as cash only. We had the taster menu which was amazing but with a bit of a caveat. The food that we got for the taster menu was outstanding, probably top 5 meals I have ever had, Michelin star quality and really quite a bit of food for two people to eat, as you get to try 10 different items of quite small portions. The Octopus Hot dog, while it sounds strange was one of best and most surprising dishes we tried, the Cauliflower Risotto was fantastic and the Passion fruit and white chocolate dessert was just to die for. The service was excellent and atmosphere was modern and relaxing, yet upbeat. They had music playing but it wasn't drowning out our conversation. The caveat that I mentioned comes with the price. While I thought that I had confirmed with the waiter when we were figuring out what to order that the taster menu was meant for two people and the 100 Euro was for two and not each, I guess I misunderstood and was a little shocked when the bill came and it was 200 euros for the two of us, certainly my mistake for not being more clear but a cautionary tale if you are reading this and considering getting the taster menu. I still gave it 5 stars as the food was outstanding but value wise I don't know that I would do the taster menu again and pay 200 Euro for two people to eat this amount of food. Maybe stick to the menu options unless you are truly looking to try everything and willing to pay the premium. The sea bass roll with caviar was probably the weakest item that we tried and the grilled fatty tuna was a little plain and lacking in flavour for my liking. Both still good, but when compared to the rest not what I would order again. All in all a great spot to eat, especially if you love seafood.
